Welcome to the Kansas City Sail & Power Squadron

The Kansas City Sail & Power Squadron is based in Kansas City, Kansas, with members from Kansas and Missouri.  Our members range from professionals to retirees.  A few live on their boats, several months each year, in Florida, Georgia, and in elsewhere.

We train boaters, newcomers and old hands alike, in boating safety.  Those who become members are eligible for education in advanced classes, like Seamanship, Piloting, Navigation, Mechanics an Maintenance, and more.

We are involved in programs from finding survey markers to performing Vessel Safety Checks at local lakes.

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic members, and opportunities for fun activities, like boating parties, raft-ups, and so on.
