BOATING IS FUN-WE'LL SHOW YOU HOW

 

 This classes is open to the public and meets all local, state and federal requirements for operating a PWC (Personal Watercraft) and all powered water craft with 25 hp or greater. Everyone operating a personal watercraft is required by law to have passed a certified course. Any one whose birthday is on or after January 1, 1982 must have passed a certified course in order to drive a power boat with 25 hp and above.

America's Boating Course (ABC)

June 7 and June 14 2014 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

This course will be held at Smith Boys Marina

2310 W. Lake Rd., Asheville New York,

 The cost of the class is $25 for each book which may be shared. Add $5.00 for each additional person.

How to join the Power Squadron

After completing and passing the proctored exam for a safe boating course you have completed the prerequisite for becoming a member of the USPS. Normally one of the power squadron members will approach you about joining the squadron. If this does not happen then you approach one of the members and he/she will sit down and explain the benefits of being a member. After that there is a short form to fill out and you are on your way to an new exciting boating education treat!
