will conduct their public boating class; America's Boating Class

March 6,13,20 &27, 2012 6:30 to 8:30 pm

The class will be held at the Allegheny Outfitters, 430 Penna Ave. W, Warren Pa 16365. Contact David Hollingshead, 814-726-1517.This class is open to the public and meets the NASBLA requirements for operating a jet ski (Personal Watercraft) and all powered water craft. Everyone operating a personal watercraft is required by law to have passed a certified course. This course meets all of the requirements. The cost of the course is $20.00.

Anyone taking and passing the course and joins the Kinzua Power Squadron will be reimbursed the $20.00 after joining. There are many Educational Benefits for joining the Power Squadron

After completing and passing the proctored exam for a safe boating course you have completed the prerequisite for becoming a member of the USPS. Normally one of the power squadron members will approach you about joining the squadron. If this does not happen then you approach one of the members and he/she will sit down and explain the benefits of being a member. After that there is a short form to fill out and you are on your way to an new exciting boating education treat!
