    Lackawanna Sail & Power Squadron was formed in 1958 having split off from the Northern Jersey Power Squadron.  In 1966, Lackawanna spun off the Hopatcong  Squadron. More recently, in  1998, Lackawanna spawned the new Long Valley  Squadron of 50 members. Lackawanna  itself has, today, some 350+ members. Lackawanna serves primarily the Morris County area. Its center of administration and education is in the Morristown, Madison, and Summit vicinity. List of Towns
