Members' Corner

John and Jean Militello have reason to be proud of their grandson and LMS&PS member Blaise for his accomplishments on the soccer field. Blaise and his team, The Bullhead City American Youth Soccer Organization team, won the Area 15 2011-2012 play-off league championship. This was after also winning the area 14 second place award.

Andy and Linda Pensavalle took another trip to visit their daughter and family in Florence, Italy. This trip was marred by a "grab and run" incident at the Rome train station. Linda lost a backpack which thankfully did not contain any valuables, money or documents. She did, however lose a notebook computer.

Ken and Dawn Pierce were off globetrotting again. This time their travels took them to Spain and a transatlantic cruise. Unfortunately their trip was also plagued with some unplanned obstacles that necessitated Ken's quick mind to do battle with airline reservation systems. Hearing Dawn relate the events reminded me of the movie The Out of Towners. They did manage to visit former Squadron members Brian and Amy Zebrowski in Florida before departing on a Caribbean cruise.

Joe and Sharon Weller made another trip to visit the potato farm in Idaho….nah, they don't really have a potato farm…..they just had to visit the grandkids again before Christmas.
