Please help
collect information for Merit Mark Awards ! |
The coveted “Merit Mark” (MM) is awarded by the Chief Commander to a member for substantial personal effort in furthering the interest, programs and objectives of USPS, its districts and squadrons. This form is provided as a convenience to report activity of a squadron member to assist the LNSPS Commander in compiling information to make recommendations for Merit Mark awards. Please help your Commander collect information on your (or your committee members') efforts, activity and participation in the Power Squadron this year. List all activities and positions held even though these may also be reported by Committee Chairs or other persons for you. Information on this form may be submitted to the Commander at any time during the year, but all information for the year should be in by 15 October so the Commander's report for the year can be filed with USPS.
Important: List activity name and date(s).
Be as descriptive as possible regarding
your involvement (i.e. position held, type of work
done, # of calls made, # classes
taught, # events worked on, # tests graded, etc...) and estimate the number of
hours for each activity. Please review information in the USPS Operations Manual
at:
