2008 SUMMER CRUISE

 

Saturday, July 12 – Sunday, July 20, 2008

 

This year’s cruise starts a little further south than usual, but makes up for the initial travel time with a two- night stay in Lankford Bay at the end, which means the last days of the cruise will be local for most people, resulting in an easy trip home. Lankford Bay is located partway up the Chester River, and an ideal launch point for a day trip up the river to Chestertown. It is also a short trolley ride from Rock Hall, so the final cruise dinner is being planned for Osprey Point, a favorite Squadron location. The cruise will also include Cambridge, a much-requested location, the Wednesday-night sailboat races in Annapolis (always fun!), and a weekday stop in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

The following is a list of the marinas and the dates we will be there. When you sihn up, please indicate at which marinas you would like us to reserve a slip for you. (Note: In some cases the marina will charge a fee if slips are cancelled at the last minute, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel a slip.)

            *Note that Cambridge is a 1-night stay, but we have two locations because the Hyatt is             blocked to tall rigs by a 50ft max clearance bridge.
