Join Neptune Sail and Power Squadron!

With some gorgeous sunny days recently, the New York boating season is finally in full swing here on the North Shore of Long Island. Neptune Sail and Power Squadron has also moved into high gear with it’s summer program of on the water experience and social events for the boaters of Northport and Huntington.

Weekly Raft Ups

One of the fantastic assets at Neptune is our Members mooring buoy situated in Lloyd Harbor. Interested in joining in? We are promoting our weekly raft ups to potential new members to meet the established club boaters, experience this venue to relax and enjoy each other’s company while watching the sun set across Lloyd Neck. Members can moor up any time as long as you fly the club burgee, visitors must make arrangements with a member by contacting our Administrative Officer, Gene Sicard

Rendezvous East

Neptune Squadron is part of District 3 of the United States Power Squadrons which encompasses 18 squadrons on Long Island. This year many members of all squadrons will meet at Strong’s Water Club and Marina in Mattituck Inlet from July 31 to August 3. Nearly 100 boats will attend with a full agenda of events for the members, including our flag raising that will take place on Saturday August 2. Check out the details here and sign up soon!


USPS prides itself on it’s core mission of education in boating safety. While most of our classes are suspended during the summer boating season, we are planning a full program of events in the fall, including ABC, America’s Boating Course, Boat Operator Certification and advanced training in Navigation.
