The New Orleans Power Squadron teaches the complete United States Power Squadrons list of classes. These advanced classes are open only to members.

Please note that according to USPS regulations, the New Orleans Power Squadron can only offer advanced courses to members. Active membership in USPS is open to those 18 years and over who have passed the USPS Boating Course, Boat Smart or America's Boating Course examination (or equivalent), and who are able and willing to contribute time, energy, and skills to the objectives of USPS. Be sure to sign up early for these classes. There is a fee for the books and supplies necessary for all classes. The Education Department offers registration by phone or email.
