Newport Sail and Power Squadron Meetings

We are pleased to announce a December dinner meeting for our squadron. The purpose will be the installation of officers. Please join us and email your RSVP by November 20 to Dave Duggan, N with a copy to David Procaccini, JN The date is Saturday, 5 December 2009 at the Melville Grille, 1 Lagoon Road Portsmouth, RI 02871 Phone (401) 683-4400. Cocktails (cash bar) and complementary appetizers start at 1800 with the dinner buffet at 1900. The menu consists of Lemon Peppered Pork Tenderloin, Meat Lasagna and Baked Scrod. The cost is $30.00 per person.

BOATING COURSES

The America's Boating Course started on October 21, 2009 and runs for 8 sessions (skipping holidays. Hours are 6:30 to 8:30 PM. It is being held in the meeting room of the Newport Athletic Club. Located at 66 Valley Road next to Wendy's which is on the corner of East Main Road and Valley Road in Middletown. See our Boating Courses page for more information on the course content.
