P/C Elie Cohen represented Newport Sail and Power Squadron at the recent District 14 Spring Conference and returned with Distinctive Communicator Awards for the NSPS and District 14 websites, VSC Certificates of Appreciation for Forest Golden and Bill Loescke and a Certificate of Appreciation for his own work as Chairman of the District 14 Bylaws Committee.

P/C Phil Viveiros has reached the 25 year mark in NSPS membership. The 25-year pin was presented to him on September 17, 2011 by Cdr Bill Loeseke.
