  • Jim Olin was recognized as Commander of the year by District
  • Meryl Warren received the MEMBER ACHIEVEMENT award for North Strand.
  • Dean Berry was recognized by CMAC Carolina Marine Advisory Committee for his work regarding Rip Currents
  • Charlie Schuler was awarded the District Award for Excellence in Teaching
  • Bill Race won a National Award for Training Aids
  • Bob Boal won the Distinction in Journal Award

Awards won in 2004

  • Linda Boyette won the D/26 Squadron Education Officer of the year along with the SEO from Long Bay
  • Marianne Schuler received the MEMBER ACHIEVEMENT award for North Strand.
  • Website was the BEST website in all of USPS Squadrons and Districts receiving 99 out of a possible 100 points. Charlie Schuler, Web Master.
  • Prince Henry is a coveted award given to the squadron that has the most members who complete advanced grades.
  • Bob Boal won the Distinction in Journal Award
