We are not landlocked in East Tennessee. Oak Ridge lies on the Clinch River, a tributary to the Tennessee River.
From the Tennessee River, one ultimately has access to the Gulf of Mexico via the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway or the Mississippi River.
