Our site is: Dedicated to Safe Boating - not as a rule, but as a habit!

Are you interested in Safe Boating? This is our SPECIALITY!

We cover the waterfront: 1) Education; 2) Civic Involvement; 3) Fellowship.
  1. Our Educational offerings draw on the experiences of more than 50,000 USPS® Members, worldwide, and have evolved over 85 years. Member classes are conducted in "Advanced" boating subjects such as Advanced Piloting, and Navigation as well as "Elective" courses such as Sailing Techniques, Engine Maintenance, Weather and more.
  2. Our Civic contributions range from presenting Public Boating Courses to running chase boats for a local regatta.
  3. Our Fellowship occurs whenever we gather. It extends to our educational (learning) experiences of "on-the-water" subjects/activities at various inland lakes in Oklahoma as well as the Arkansas River. It is apparent in our meetings and social events.
As you cruise our Site we hope you find many things of interest to you. Most of all, we hope you find an interest in joining us in SAFE BOATING, as a member of our OKCSPS boating community.
