Whether you own a power boat, sail boat or jet ski, this class is for you!
This course allows for participants to qualify for a boater's license (if boater licensing comes to pass). Usually insurance companies offer a discount for those who have completed a boat safety course. In addition, it offers one the opportunity to become a member of the Oklahoma City Sail and Power Squadron.

Topics will include: Rules & Regulations on Oklahoma lakes, Weather conditions, Boat types and identification, Handling (docking & trailering), and Knot tying, etc..

Class literature can be purchased (for printing cost) in class - one book per family is ok.

A test will be given at the last class for those who want certification.
