COURSE DESCRIPTION

Eight Hour Saturday Class

This course is designed to be useful to all boaters, from the person operating a personal watercraft for hunting or fishing in an outboard, to the skipper in a family cruiser or to the sailing enthusiast.

Course covers:

Types of Boats, Radio Equipment, Aids to Navigation, Boat Handling, Navigation Rules,

Adverse Conditions and Emergencies, Trailering, Personal Watercraft Operation

Course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard as acceptable to the National Recreational Boating Safety Program.

Course meets requirements of the State of Florida to obtain a Safe boating Certificate. This Certificate certifies passing a Proctored Examination which meets minimum standards set by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to fulfill requirements of court ordered completion of an approved boating safety course.
