GENERAL MEETINGS

Orlando Power Squadron Executive Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month normally at an Officer’s residence.  The General meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month starting at 7pm. If a dinner meeting is planed the Dinner/social part of the meeting will start at 5:30 and conclude at 6:50.  Locations currently vary between local restaurants around Orange County so that the same people do not have to do all the driving.

The General Meetings include boating related “outside” speakers, video presentations, seminars, hands on training, or other educational activities. At the completion of that night’s program, a short business meeting is conducted with summery reports from the officers, recognition of guests or members, and upcoming events.  The meeting concludes no later than 9pm.

Other standard meetings include the annual Change of Watch (COW) which replaces February’s General meeting.  The COW is a formal affair held in a nice local restaurant. The Christmas party is another annual event.  It replaces December’s General Meeting and is usually held at an Officers residence.
