Welcome!!I want to alert you to the law for non-tidal lakes in NJ and also ask for your support by word of mouth to fellow members, friends and family.1)The actual law to operate a vessel on NJ lakes is to possess an endorsement on your drivers license (class D BOAT) AND possess a 'boating safety certificate as well...YES, you need these 2 to operate on NJ lakes...........................HOWEVER, you only need your boating safety certificate to operate a vessel on tidal waters such as rivers and the ocean and any other body of water that changes tide.2) SupportI am asking for your support to speak to others in your family,your friends,and clubs you may have connection to ,to get people out to classes we will be holding or even a private class which we will be willing to hold based on the amount of students.Please get some interest going to support Palisades as we approach spring and summer 2013.We are currently approaching the high schools in the area to get younger adults to attend classes and we need any help you might support us with.Please respond with any questions.Thank You for your cooperation,Cdr.
