The Pamlico Sail and Power
Squadron, chartered on 10 June 2000, is located in eastern North
Carolina on the Pamlico and Pungo Rivers. For a view of the area covered please see the map. Our squadron membership is
about 110. Pamlico Sail and Power Squadron is a unit of the United
States Power Squadron's District 27. We are a non-profit,
fraternal organization whose purpose is to promote high standards of
seamanship and navigation and safe boating for all. Our members include sail and power boaters with every size and type boat imaginable.
The Pamlico Sail and Power Squadron serves the
recreational boating community in Beaufort and Hyde Counties in Eastern
North Carolina. Based in Washington, we sponsor activities throughout
the Pamlico River, Pungo River, and Pamlico Sound.
The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) and the Pamlico Sail and
Power Squadron (PSPS) are a Fraternal Boating Club dedicated to Self Education and
Civic Service.

● Cooperative charting cruises
However, we are always ready to have fun. Our members enjoy:
● Dinner Meetings and Cookouts, often with a speaker
● Cruises and Rendezvous
● Social activities with other boating organizations
● Attendance at USPS District and National events
