Bridge Officers

Welcome aboard the Patchogue Bay Power Squadron website. Our Squadron was chartered on March 6, 1951 with an initial membership of 60 individuals. These men formed a bond during World War II as civilian, volunteer coast watchers covering the waters of the east end of the Great South Bay, Fire Island and off-shore waters. PBPS allowed them to combine their love of the water, volunteer/service activities and the all-important camaraderie they had experienced during the war years. Their legacy continues to this day with several of our most active members having a relative in that group of charter members. I hope your visit to our site will peak your interest in the Power Squadron in general and in our Squadron in particular.

Yours Truly Commander William McGahern, N
