AMERICAN RED CROSS FIRST AID TRAINING CLASS

Members of our squadron attended the Red Cross First Aid Training Class at the conference room of the new Braswell Memorial Library in Rocky Mount on Saturday, 4 October 2003. Edgecombe County EMT Jim Simms and RMPS member Lynda Brown, RN, presented the class. Instruction included video, lecture, and bandaging demonstrations. All attendees passed the test. Participants included: Phil Benson, Bobby and Lynda Brown, Tere and Jim Dugan, Nelson and Ondra Gainey, Bob Glaser, Al Paetzell, Chris Payne, Bob and Mary Sitton, and Greg and Suzanne Zolas. After the class, members enjoyed luncheon together at the Great Day Café at Benvenue Plaza.
