1983 - COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

United States Power Squadron is a great organization. District 27 and the Rocky Mount Power Squadron are important parts of that organization. While there may be imperfections in its operation, there are opportunities for self-development, civic service, fraternal boating, and lots of fun.
The individual members' participation, contribution of their time and expertise are what make this a great organization. The services we perform, the fun and fellowship we enjoy can be expanded by our becoming more involved and inviting our friends to become an active part of this squadron.
During 1983, I hope each of you will propose at least one new membership for the squadron. This will assure continued growth and strength, as well as enhance our ability to serve and enjoy a strong, active squadron.
