1988 - COMMANDER'S MESSAGE GEORGE D. HOWELL, P I am looking forward to a great Squadron year in 1988. With the present membership providing the leadership and enthusiasm, our Squadron will  grow and we, along with our community, will share the benefits. The business of running the Squadron is conducted at the Executive Board meetings. These meetings will be held on the 4th Thursday each month at my house. We'll come together for a meal, usually a cookout, and afterwards conduct our business. I invite all of you to attend and to share in the fellowship as our Squadron's functions are planned.

Many Squadron events are already in the planning stages. Some of them are: Spring Fishing  Tournament (May 14); Cooperative Charting (June 4); Marker Recovery; District 27  Rendezvous (August 6); cookouts and socials.
Let's all set as one of our goals to participate in as many functions as possible.

USPS education courses offer us the best way I know to become acquainted with knowledge while having fellowship with our friends. Don't neglect this very important aspect of USPS.

Thanks for electing me as your leader for this coming year. I assure you I will put forth my best effort and, with your help, we will have a banner year.
