1989 - COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

It is with a great deal of pride that I take command as the eighteenth Commander of the Rocky Mount Power Squadron. I wish to thank the members of the Bridge who have agreed to contribute their time to seeing the Squadron accomplish its goals in the coming year. In addition to education, we will put much emphasis on recruiting new members and expanding our social activities together as boaters.
This year we will maintain the tradition of providing quality educational opportunities for members by offering a series of Advanced Grade and Elective courses while offering the public an opportunity to learn about safe boating through the Public Boating Course. With the very capable direction of
P/C Larry Battle, N, our Educational Officer, educational opportunities will be abundantly available this year.
