Your Power Squadron is a volunteer organization depending upon its membership for support. An important aspect of a prospective member's qualifications is his willingness to "give" of his time and talents, as well as to "take" from the USPS of boating knowledge and skills.
We must actively promote the Public Boating Course, thereby increasing boating safety on the waterways and giving us a source of new members. Cooperative charting and the "treasure hunt" for survey markers help us to hone our boating and socializing skills. When you participate in our advanced and elective courses, boating and social activities, you will enjoy your USPS membership to the fullest.
As in some contests: "You must be present to win." Enjoy!
