1996 - COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

H. CLAY HELM, AP

I am very honored to have been elected as Commander again. I am most proud of the Bridge you have given to help me. Just remember that we are here to help guide the Squadron, not to do the Squadron's work. The work of the Squadron is up to the members as it has always been.

This year we will be trying several different ideas. One is to find different places to meet for Family Night. We will be looking at places that will seat from twenty to fifty people, that have a meeting area, and serve a "nice meal".

Some of the dinners will be in expensive restaurants, others will be in moderate priced places. With this we are trying to reach all the members for at least some of the meetings.

The Bridge meetings will be open to all members, these will be dinner meeting at a restaurant so we will be able to conduct the business of the Squadron in a relaxed atmosphere. The location of the meetings will be announced in the Coastal Plains Signal. Please mark your calendars and attend as many of these functions as possible. This is your Squadron and we are here for you.
