1999 - COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

I consider it a privilege to serve as commander for the Rocky Mount Power Squadron in this the 85th anniversary of the United States Power Squadrons®.  The year is already shaping up to be a great year for us.  Plans are underway for the Spring Squadron Boating Course as well as the Piloting Course.  Several members are currently working on Advanced Piloting.  I hope we will continue to stress education throughout the coming year.

We are also preparing for our cooperative charting rendezvous in late spring as well as increased activities on the water this summer.  All of these activities will only be possible if our members support them.  To this end I challenge each of you to make a sincere effort to participate in all of the functions of our squadron.  This year's bridge is gearing up to make this the best year ever for the Rocky Mount Power Squadron.
