2001 - COMMANDER'S MESSAGE
NELSON GAINEY, P
It is a
privilege to have the opportunity to serve this second term as Commander
of the Rocky Mount Power Squadron.
I now feel qualified to fill this position.
As you have seen, your 2000 Bridge, with the exception of the
Administrative Officer, has also returned.
With all of this experience, I am sure the results we render will
please our Squadron.
Your
Bridge has already begun to plan the 2001 calendar of events.
|
Education
will receive our highest priority. We
hope to increase the awareness and availability of the outstanding classes the
USPSŪ has to offer our membership. Our
Cooperative Charting activity will occur in the Spring and the
rendezvous/cruises will occur during the warmer Summer weather.
We
have a renewed commitment to continue the outstanding programs we have become
accustomed to at the Family Night meetings.
Details of these activities and meetings will be finalized and presented
monthly in our newsletter, the Coastal Plains Signal. To this end,
I challenge each of you to make a sincere effort to participate in your
Squadron's activities.
