United States Power Squadrons (USPS)®  is the largest, most respected non-profit,
educational/fraternal boating organization in the world, covering all 50 states, Puerto
Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Japan. Our goal is the promotion of the highest
standards of navigation and seamanship. Our members are families who enjoy the
camaraderie of social boating activities and who contribute to their communities by
promoting safe boating on the water and in the classroom.

Saybrook Squadron was chartered on February 6, 1953 to provide service to the
towns of the lower Connecticut River Valley and adjacent communities along the
Long Island Sound shoreline. Our membership numbers over 160 boaters.
