Permission to come aboard?  Sure!

Anyone can join who has an active interest in boating education and safety.  Most people join because they find a class that excites them — even with the first year's membership the classes are a bargain.  See Member Benefits for discounts and the many other reasons to join.

If you are new to boating we recommend you take an Introductory Class and receive your Washington State Education Card before joining.  Experienced boaters are welcome to join without passing a formal test.

If you are already a member and want to renew or transfer, see membership changes below.

New Members:

Our New Member chairman Alan Sidel can answer your questions and handle the paperwork for you (phone and email below).  Membership can be as an individual or as a whole family. 

(1)  Download, print and complete the Membership Application Forms.

(2)  You will receive a name badge for each member so fill out the badge form on page 2 as you would like your names to show and what fastener type you prefer.

Dues are computed as follows:

Annual Dues for first member	$84.50
Name badge	$10.00
Individual new member total		$94.50
Annual dues to cover any number of family members	$42.25
Second name badge for one family member	$10.00
Family membership for two people total		$146.75
Additional family badge and fee add	$27.50 each
Family total for three or more		?

(3)  These can be paid by check payable to "SSAPS" or by filling out the credit card form on page 3 (leave the squadron info blank; Alan will handle it).
