Across-The-Border

Spokane Sail & Power Squadron partners with its neighbors in Western Canada Inland District of Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons (CPS-ECP) in a variety of activities. In the Fall of 2009, Spokane Sail & Power Squadron organized and hosted in Penticton, British Columbia, the first ever joint district conference between USPS and CPS-ECP.

It truly was a joint international conference.

Dinner after the conferance

The Saturday dinner dance exceeded all registration hopes - 158 people!

Spokane Sail & Power Squadron has also participated in several joint cruise/rendezvous with members of CPS-ECP squadrons. Because of border-crossing challenges with a trailer boat, Spokane Squadron members drove to the Arrow Lakes in southeastern British Columbia and were hosted on the boats of Western Canada Inland District members.
