SEAMANSHIP

Date: Monday evenings beginning April 22 and ending June 17 (8 classes)

Time:  7PM - 9PM

Place: Ventura Campus of Santa Barbara Business College 4839 Market St. Ventura Room #1

Cost of Materials:  $60 for VSPS members and $90 for non members

Cost of Materials: Power Squadron Members $60 and non members $90 (for textbook)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
 

America’s Boating Course (ABC) – Introduction to Safety – 8 Weeks

Where: TBD
When: September 2013 and again in February 2014
Cost: TBD per student

The ABC Safe Boating Class will be offered starting on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:00 pm at the Ventura Yacht Club, located in the Ventura Harbor (1775 Spinnaker Drive). This is an 8-week class, which will cover all essential topics of safe boat handling and boating safety. It’s a perfect class for boaters who need a refresher as well as for the new boat owner. Learn the rules of the road, CA and federal safety requirements, proper fueling techniques and lots more.
The class is limited to 45 people, and costs TBD per student (which covers the cost of printed materials; instructors are all volunteers). Please be prepared to purchase the material the first night with a check or cash.  SEE COURSE BROCHURE
