Boating is fun - we'll show you how
The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) is dedicated to safe and enjoyable sail and power boating, and was founded in 1914.
The Vermilion Sail and Power Squadron was established September 14, 1937. Most of our members live along Lake Erie, between Sandusky and Cleveland.
We enjoy summer rendezvous, regular dinner meetings the rest of the year, teach boating classes, and conduct vessel safety checks.

Saturday, June 22, 2013 - 3rd Annual River Raft Event
10 AM to 1 PM; Beaver Park North Marina; 6000 W Erie Ave, Lorain
ALL Kayaks, Dinghies, Canoes, Paddle Boards and Small Boats WELCOME!!
Meet at Beaver Park North at security gate(flash your lights).
If you need a trailer launch site, please go to Beaver Park South, PH: 440 282 6308.
We will excursion the Beaver Creek and, weather permitting, the Lake Erie shoreline.
We'll return to the yacht club shelter for a prepared lunch (donations accepted to offset costs).
Bring your own beverages for the paddle and lunch, required safety gear, registration, etc
