Worcester County Sail and Power Squadron

About

Worcester County Power Squadron was founded 7 January 1955. WCPS was formally incorporated 27 February 1956. We currently have about 100 members. The Squadron was renamed Worcester County Sail and Power Squadron (WCSPS) in December 2001.

Like the USPS®, we're dedicated to self-education, civic service, and fellowship. We stress member education, offering many advanced and elective courses every year. These courses, designed by the USPS, range from Seamanship, Engine Maintenance, and Cruise Planning to Celestial Navigation.

The major WCSPS civic services include teaching the USPS public Safe Boating course, Vessel Safety Checks (VSC), and Cooperative Charting.

Regularly scheduled gatherings give members an opportunity to socialize and access to programs that are interesting and instructive.
