Power of One Program
The Power of One is a USPS® wide initiative aimed at accelerating membership growth through a two pronged approach that will enable squadrons to dramatically increase new recruitments, while concurrently addressing the need to involve and retain existing members.
The 2007-2008 Power of One (POO) program runs from 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2008. POO pins will continue to be presented to USPS members who bring one new member into our organization. Dangle pins will be presented to members who bring in 10, 20 or 30 new members over the four year program. Squadrons who increase their membership by 25% from 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2008 will receive special recognition at the 2009 Annual meeting.

The "Ambassadors" program was established as part of POO. While it is recognized that many different factors can put a squadron "at risk", we know that many of these factors relate to Membership, either recruiting or retention. Squadron Development has been charged with the task of dealing with squadrons "at risk". Membership CDs and other materials are available to District Ambassadors (NMR's).
