A few ideas for flyers which can be used to publicize boating classes and internal courses. The boating class flyers can be distributed on local bulletin boards, at boat shows, marinas, etc. There is one example designed to promote internal courses which can be used in newsletters and at squadron meetings and events. They are provided in MSWord (.doc) format so they can be modified to include squadron information.
This booklet has been developed and updated to provide instructors with some tips to assist in customizing the slide presentations that accompany the new USPS course material. It includes PowerPoint 2007 tips. It is in Acrobat .pdf formatted as a booklet. Set up your printer to print in landscape mode, double sided. (27 Mar 08)
Download this little booklet for some helpful guidlines for giving effective presentations.
You can use individual PowerPoint slides as overhead transparencies. If you do this, you add pizzazz to your OHT presentation by adding color. View the slide you would like to use and print it directly on to transparency film. (Be sure to use the correct film specified for your type of printer.)
