The following software packages are to be used exclusively to electronically submit boating course and seminar student information to USPS Headquarters. Note that boating course and seminar registration and course completion information must be submitted via the on-line HQ-800/ED-27 process. Other submission methods of class and seminar results are not accepted at Headquarters.
A simple tool for
boating class administrators to manage their boating classes is now available.
Coupled with on-line registration, this Excel spreadsheet application substantially
reduces manual data entry. It includes the ability to print student wallet
cards and certificates and, upon completion of the course, all the ED26
and ED46 information can be automatically uploaded to the master file at
Headquarters. This new update (Version 2) contains a link for online submittals
of ED27 statistics. It is compatible with Office 2007 products as well
as the Vista operating system. More details are in the PDF file (20KB).
Download the zipped file (247KB)
containing the files to your hard drive and extract the workbook application
folder to your C: drive. Print the instructions document and follow the
directions. (02 Aug 07 )
This application is the result of the combined efforts of Bill
Badgley of Bellevue PS, P/C Dan Bartell, R/C Dave Hinders, Kathy
Kesterson at Headquarters, P/R/C Pat Governale and P/C Don Baker.
We hope you find it useful.
