  1. Good idea!  I'll start leaving it at the yacht club for others to read.
  2. Recycle it through the local library, articles from various magazines are used by school students in their report creation.
  3. Actually, after giving it to my wife to read, I take it and leave it in the barber shop for others to read.  Might even stir people to become members.
  4. Share it with the Sea Scouts that meet at my Church
  5. Mostly I pass them along to my local marina to be lent out from their lounge area
  6. take it to the coast where I have a second home and share it there also with neighbors.

  1. Saved 78 copies of THE ENSIGN for this purpose during the period from 1987 to 2006
  2. I save certain issues with special interest articles that I might find useful in the future

  4. Save select issues (how to's, technical articles related to my specific boating interests) for future reference - discard balance
  5. I used to leave them at the marina, but, like so many around here, it no longer exists. I save them for reference and once a year clean house.

  2. Give to membership ch for prospective new members at boating courses.

  6. pass relevant information on to other squadron or district members, in talks, presentations or newsletters.
  7. pass it along to my wife, who is also a USPS member.  After she reads it, we discard it when the next issue arrives.
