ITCOM Help Desk


ITCom now has a "Help Desk", with a new e-mail address of "ITHelp@usps.org" which members can use to correspond with ITCom members with questions about their internet problems, server usage questions, etc.

This service is not intended to replace the Tech Support provided by your ISP, but to address issues specific to the USPS services. In other words, they cannot help you configure your e-mail program or other things specific to your service provider, but will attempt to answer your questions regarding transferring files to the web server, obtaining (downloading) a roster, etc.

Server specific issues ("I forgot my password and can't log in now", etc.) can be addressed to "server_admin@usps.org" now. This will provide coverage from more than one individual to help insure the fastest possible response to your concerns.

And as before, questions on how to utilize your web site in the best possible manner (and comply with the requirements for getting a "USPS Web Site Award" this year) can be addressed to "websites@usps.org".

Dissemination of information is the key to the success of any program.
