Here's an article on the benefits of boating on children as the results of a study done by Impulse Research Corp and commissioned by NMMA. It used to be available on www.discoverboating.com, but is no longer there. The WebMaster of that site has graciously given us permission to post it here, though.

It's part of the new kit we are developing to aide squadrons in developing
safety and kid-oriented programs in schools. It's call the Youth Boating & Water
Safety Program and it is based on the manual Boating Safety for Kids.
It includes a song and lasts for about 30 minutes. Ideal for classroom
or assembly program.
