3.50 The Operations Manual committee is
responsible for the preparation and distribution of
the Operations Manual. Because USPS Bylaws
must necessarily be brief and direct, the
Operations Manual is intended to supplement
these rules and regulations with detailed guidelines
and information.
The purpose of the Operations Manual is to
serve as a guide to all officers and members.
Information about their duties, opportunities,
approved methods of operation and an approximate
timetable are included with descriptions of how
activities are managed.
