Greg is P/D/C of D/22. Besides coordinating the committee’s operation under the National Executive Officer, Dr. Scotten, a Ph.D., serves as editor of PRO•LOG, and a writer and editor of USPS releases. Barbara is a P/D/C of D16. She works with districts and squadrons on PR Program instruction and development, and coordinates the flow of information to them. She serves as the PR information liaison to the various external organizations with which USPS has established MOUs.

Ken is a P/D/C of D/13 and is a P/R/C from the Education Department. He coordinates all the national PR contests. The Roger Upton Award recognizes excellence using videotape to include both a videotaped program presented to an audience or broadcast via cable or network television and public service announcements (PSA) broadcast or network.

Bob is a P/D/C of D/4 and a P/R/C for three committees: Public Relations, Safety, and Marketing/PR. He was the project manager of our three TV shows and has served as chair of many ad hoc committees over the years. Glen is DPRO of D/3. He serves as the committee’s AV manager and researches electronic media ideas for publicity. Glen spearheaded the project to bring back USPS Civic Service-type signs through which these signs have been installed on waterways and highways. Glen is also a squadron webmaster, Radio Technical Officer, and has written columns for D/3 squadron newsletters.

Ted was Chair of the National Membership Benefits Committee. He is a recipient of the USCG-USPS Eagle Award for Significant Contributions to Boating Safety. In the past few years Ted has produced three of our one-hour USPS TV shows and six award winning 30-sec. video PSAs. He has served as chair of the Canadian Safe Boating Council and frequently serves as an MC at the International Boating and Water Safety Summits.

 Bill was the first recipient of the USPS’s prestigious Ship’s Bell Award for outstanding community outreach for safe boating. Prior to his retirement, Bill served in corporate management positions with General Motors in various parts of the world. The last several years, he has written boating safety articles that have been reprinted around the nation. He has is a regular contributor to the Waterline, a weekly supplement of the Sun-Herald of Charlotte County, Florida

Bill has been providing our organization with countless illustrations over the years from Boating Course covers to illustrations in PRO•LOG. He also provided all the art for three USBI brochures. An award winning cartoonist and illustrator from the Star Ledger newspaper, Bill is now retired and lives in Cave Creek, AZ, where he continues to provide art and cartoons to the local paper.
