Districts With Incomplete Reports
In 2008, the United States Coast Guard, with a grant, supplied USPS Squadrons with Mustang Inflatable Life Jackets for the purpose of wearing these jackets duirng VSCs and also during training classes to show the ease and comfort of the new suspender type units.
The issue accountability has not been dropped and USPS is required to account for the life jackets annually. This report has been incomplete for 2011 and 2012 due to a lack of reporting and communications between Districts and Squadrons.
In 2012, the following Districcts have failed to submit complete reports as of 1-14-2013:

D20 6 of 18 missing
D23 4 of 10 missing
D26 11 of 13 missing
D30 3 of 8 missing
D32 2 of 6 missing
D33 1 of 8 missing
In 2012, the missing reports leave approximately 245 Life Jackets unaccounted for.
