Your adventure begins in a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor where your party will knock three times, say a secret password and enter Gangland Chicago 1931. Handsome mobsters and gorgeous dames shine in this unforgettable production with nonstop surprises, a gangster shoot out (with a chance to win prizes) and a hilarious ending sure to knock your socks off.  Dinner consists of a delicious buffet (with numerous Italian and American favorite dishes), a fresh salad bar, meat carving station, dessert AND unlimited beverages (including alcohol)! Capone's prides themselves with a quality meal, served fresh, not plated and reheated upon your arrival. You will be offered a choice of over 15 different beverages - more than any other Orlando dinner show!  The group will depart the Rosen Centre Hotel at approximately 6:15pm and will arrive back at the hotel at approximately 11:00pm.  Price includes transporation and dinner.

Titanic Artifact Exhibition Guided Tour    Add to Calendar

Hundreds of thousands of visitors each year come to stroll through full-scale recreations of famous Titanic rooms, including her Grand Staircase, First Class Parlor Suite, Boilers, and Promenade Deck, where you can walk out and feel the chill of the cold Atlantic air as you gaze at the stars. Exceptionally trained actors in period costume portray famous Titanic notables such as Capt. Smith and Margaret Brown, sharing stories of her passengers and crew during an hour-long guided journey on board the most famous Ship in history. The exhibit showcases well over 400 artifacts & historical treasures.  Following our trip back in time, we will be transported to Miller’s Ale House for lunch ordering off the menu (not included).  We will depart at 9:45am and will return to the hotel at approximately 2:30pm.  Price includes transporation and entrance fee.  Price does not include food/beverages.

Self-Guided Tour of the beautiful Leu Gardens and lunch nearby - Explore an amazing 50-acre botanical oasis minutes from Downtown Orlando. Each garden is designed specifically to further our mission: inspire visitors to appreciate and understand plants. The garden and historical home were donated to the City of Orlando in 1961 by Mr. Harry P. Leu and his wife, Mary Jane. Camellias, azaleas, gold/pink/yellow trumpet trees, orchid tree, sweet osmanthus, powderpuff, and citrus will all be expected to be in bloom in February.  Leu Gardens teems with vigor and beauty, regardless of the season. Discover palms, cycads and flowering trees. Enjoy azaleas, vines, bromeliads and tropical philodendrons. Appreciate the sight of familiar annual flowers and the beauty of roses and camellias. Stroll under the awe-inspiring branches of camphor trees, elms and oaks.  Lunch will be at nearby White Wolf Cafe on your own (transportation included).  https://www.leugardens.org/  We will depart the hotel at approximately 10:00 am and return to the hotel at approximately 3:00pm. Judge J. Douglas McCullough – Co-Author of “Sea of Greed”, “the true story of America’s greatest drug raid” Metro

Doug McCullough grew up in Swansboro and graduated from Swansboro High School before attending the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and the University of South Carolina Law School. 

Judge McCullough retired as a Colonel in the US Marine Corps Reserve after 29 years, following 3 years active duty as a Judge Advocate in the US Marine Corps. Doug McCullough was a prosecutor with the US Department of Justice Organized Crime Strike Force and Racketeering Section in Philadelphia.  

He then moved to Washington, DC where he served as counsel to the Senate Ethics Committee before returning to North Carolina, where he served in the US Attorney's Office in Raleigh as First Assistant US Attorney, US Attorney, and Senior Litigation Counsel. 

While serving in the US Attorney’s Office, he supervised both Criminal and Civil Divisions. He personally tried in excess of 100 criminal jury trials. Prosecutions have included public corruption, narcotics, conspiracies, fraud, regulatory, health, safety and environmental violations.

Following his early retirement from the Department of Justice, Judge McCullough was in private practice with the firm Stubbs and Perdue of New Bern from 1996-2000 at which time he was elected to the North Carolina Court of Appeals, serving eight years through 2008.  He then returned to private practice for two years, was re-elected in 2010, and is now a retired Judge of the NC Court of Appeals and holds a commission as an Emergency Judge of the NC Court of Appeals and Superior Court.
