From Schloemanb at aol.com Wed Mar 24 11:02:06 2010 From: Schloemanb at aol.com (Schloemanb at aol.com) Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2010 11:02:06 EDT Subject: [Arc] USPS ARC Mailing List Termination Message-ID: <12632.525982b8.38db836e@aol.com> Fellow members of the USPS Amateur Radio Club, The following was announced by R/C John Bradley of the national Information Technology Committee: Mailing Lists to End At the Kansas City Governing Board in September 2009, it was announced that Mailman mailing lists would end and that shadow mailing lists had been created as groups on SailAngle.com. Well, that time has finally arrived. At close of business on 31 March 2010, the Mailman facility will be disabled on usps.org. ?John R. Bradley That means that the email server (arc at usps.org) that you received this email from will no longer be available. However, there is a substitute service is already in use. It is the Amateur Radio Club SailAngle.com group. One difference is that YOU have to sign up for it. We can not simply add you. At the present there are 48 members in the ARC SailAngle.com group. That means that we are about 25 members short of full representation. If you signup for SailAngle.com before 31 March you will automatically be added to the ARC group. After that, well you will have to send in a request to join the group. The SailAngle.com groups are PRIVATE USPS groups and that means that your email address is NEVER seen by others and remains behind the firewalls at SailAngle.com. There is far less advertising associated with this service than just about any other email client. To signup go to _www.usps.org_ (http://www.usps.org) and click on the Access SailAngle.com button. Fill in only the information you wish and submit and welcome aboard. 73s, P/R/C Bob Schloeman WA7MOV -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
