It has occurred to me that one of the reasons that we don't enjoy more
interaction between the members of this list is because the program is
set up to only reflect the coch@usps.org address.
That was a decision that I made a while ago. With spammers compiling lists
of e-mail addresses wherever they can grab them, I felt that the less
exposure, the better. (Although, I don't know how much exposure this would
actually create.) It is very difficult to get off of a spammer's list, once you're
on it.
I am a target, myself and get 10 - 20 pieces of spam per day on the address
I am using now. Very little on a couple of other address that I have, but
use infrequently.
I prefer Phil's alternate approach "An alternative would be to include our
email addresses in the text of the message, but that is a more bothersome
approach." if the sender wants off-the-list replies.
If the consensus is to replace "CoCh" with the sender's address, I would be
happy to do it. I don't think I have the option to include the CC list.
