COOPERATIVE CHARTING GOLDEN EAGLE AWARD
The Golden Eagle Award is the most prestigious award for District Cooperative Charting Chairs. It is given each year to the district chairs having the most out standing record in cooperative charting. To achieve this his/her district must be in the top five (5) eligible districts and have shown exceptional achievements, innovative programs, exemplary communications, or other unusual training efforts on the part of the candidate.
The Cooperative Charting Committee requests from the eligible district commanders letters of containing the accomplishments of their district cooperative charting chair, these letters are evaluated be the committee and a candidate is selected to be the recipient of the award.
This years winner will join the other members of USPS that have shown exemplary efforts in furthering Cooperative Charting and assisting in maintaining the accuracy of the nautical charts we all depend upon.
