this! As Richard said, the Coast Pilot is a good place to start.
After that, check marinas that can be located on Small Craft Charts in your
area. Are there any new ones? Have any closed? It been
more than a year since they have been surveyed? If so, pay a visit (by
boat or car) and submit a report. On the water, look for "PA"
s on your chart and give a more accurate location of the item. Any
ranges in your area? A range survey can be made every 3 years to insure that the
range is still pointing to the center of the channel. All this is covered
