I'm getting 3 to 5 a day on both my lists. It's becoming a pain to deal
with. I have been told that if we had a later version of Mailman we could
handle it automatically for all the non-list attempts. I don't know if this
is accurate or if it would mean additional expense to USPS and I haven't
followed up on it.

As manager of the USPS CoCh list, I have been receiving, on the average,
more than one e-mail per day for approval for posting by a nonmember. These
are mostly advertisements although some are pure crap. Are you other list
managers receiving this stuff also? If so, have you found a way to stop it?
