I got mine through Tech Soup when our district put in an order. I suspect
Microsoft Office is a prerequisite for Microsoft Front Page so I go that
too. I started with the free Web Dwarf from Virtual Mechanics.
http://www.virtualmechanics.com/products/dwarf/download.html for the first
two years and then for the last two years I used Microsoft Front Page.

to be true.
There are some that are free or $1.00. for the downloading.
What happened to FrontPage?
After nine years of being an award-winning Web authoring tool, FrontPage
will be discontinued in late 2006. We will continue to serve the diverse
needs of our existing FrontPage customers with the introduction of two
brand-new application building and Web authoring tools using the latest
technologies: Office SharePoint Designer 2007 for the enterprise information
workers and Expression Web for the professional Web designer.

Subject: [Comphelp] FrontPage Question - Clones?
Greetings!
I am supposed to help run a web site. The site was set up using
FrontPage 2003. My system runs with Windows NT and I do not have
MicroSoft Office. Any ideas as to where to go to acquire a copy of
FrontPage 2003 (or a good clone)? I have been looking on the various
web sites to little avail.
Thank you for your time.
