District Commanders and District Planning Committees,

 

Summary

The attached correspondence regarding Local Boating Knowledge has recently
been sent to all the squadrons in your district.  The information was
provided as an initiative to encourage our squadrons, our members and
subsequently the public to get involved in a very worthwhile local project.
Your assistance is needed.and would be greatly appreciated.

 

Action

1.       Though we have sent the attached to all squadron commanders, we are
asking you to review the materials and then please confirm the squadrons
have received the message, understand the project potential and are
encouraged to participate.

2.       From a district perspective, as you make contact with the
squadrons, consider how you might turn this into a district advertising
campaign.think of the possibilities.

 

As you review the materials, and confirm receipt with your squadrons, please
note; squadrons should not begin on-water training until USPS has an
approved insurance policy for these activities.
